This was a well-written book, for the most part. Very Archie and Veronica with some smexy times. I think the story was nice but with a nasty twist, the characters were portrayed as manipulative and I think that should have been downplayed, because the idea of having a chart and timeline to hurt someone was calculating and mean. The last part where Braden admits he loves Maddie were over-dramatic compared with the rest of the book and Maddie came off as fickle. Her father told her to tell Braden she loved him, but for weeks after she got back she moped around, as much as going to parties is moping, so it still felt like she was playing the game. An overall well-written book about teenage love, but not a forever kind of love.
